DERYA Avci é professora de arte na Turquia. Nasceu em Mus onde viveu até aos 18 anos de idade. Hoje reside em Elazig depois de ter passado por Istambul. Na terra natal sentia-se livre e em segurança, o que já não se verificou em Istambul, por ser uma cidade muito populosa (a maior da Turquia e a quarta maior do mundo). Compara Portugal a Istambul. Apesar de nunca ter visitado o nosso país tem conhecimento da cidade de Lisboa e agora do Porto por causa da convocatória de arte postal. Gostava de visitar a nossa cidade e de fazer um mural como tem feito nas escolas por onde passou.

09.11.1977, Mus, Turkiye.

2 –  Up to the present day in which cities you lived permanently?

I lived up to 18 years in Mus. After I lived in Istanbul and now in Elazig.

3 – Academic qualifications?

Teacher of Van Y. Y. University.

4 – Professional activity?

Painting teacher of state.

5 – The place where you born and live influenced your artistic life? If so, why?

I was free and safely in Mus, where i was born and i might active with my friends in nature then i was effected by Istanbul where was big and crowded so i felt myself as freedom.

6 – When you think in Porto (Portugal) remember immediately what?

Portugal is same Istanbul. I know Lisbon but i haven’t see Portugal and i learned Porto this post card 🙂 .

7 – Have you ever visited Porto? If so, why and what do you think of the city?

I want to visit Porto and i want to live your city then i want to mural or exhibition in Porto.
